Happy (almost) Valentine’s Day! Given that some of our Valentine’s Day plans may look a bit different this year due to the pandemic, we figured it would be the perfect opportunity to reach out to our audience to get their input.
Our study takes a look at Valentine’s Day plans, favorites, online dating habits, and ideal qualities in romantic partners. Half of respondents are anticipating their plans to be different this year due to the pandemic as most restaurants do not allow indoor seating and date options are limited. Many are still going to enjoy the holiday by buying chocolate (78%) and staying home (69%).
Dating apps are not as popular as they may seem. 60% of respondents have never used a dating app and most people believe that they are unsafe (54%). However, those who have used dating apps are finding success as 66% of users have met a significant other through the apps.
‘Honesty is the best policy’ and ‘Looks aren’t everything’ may seem cliché, but respondents believe them to be true! 60% of respondents believe that being honest is the most important quality in an ideal romantic partner and 54% believe that being attractive is the least important.
